Preceptor Awards and Recognition

Our preceptors will be acknowledged and recognized for the valuable contributions that they make to our residents’ learning.  All of our preceptors, Academic Half Day facilitators, mentors and project preceptors will be acknowledged with a certificate.  In addition, we would like to also recognize one outstanding preceptor.  In this regard, we have created a precepting award.

At the end of each year, our pharmacy practice residents will be responsible for selecting one preceptor that they feel best exemplifies the criteria below.  The award recipient will be recognized with a plaque at the BC Resident Certificate Night, held in Vancouver in September of each year, and at the year-end residency event and will also be acknowledged on the IH Residency Program Website.
